I have 2 cats and sometimes 3 if my son's
cat is here while he does his Army stuff.
Anyhow, my little old ladies name is Tinkerbell and she is 17 years old. We got her from the shelter when she was a kitten. The girls had been begging my husband and finally he said yes. So off we went to the shelter. My younger daughter found an older male cat that she really loved. He seemed like he would be a good fit for our family, but then the older one started crying saying it wasn't fair Rachael gets a cat and she doesn't. Oh forgot to tell you it was bogo day-enter Tink an adorable kitten my daughter was smitten. Mr Hobbes unfortunately passed away quite a few years ago. Tink despite her age is in pretty good health. She is quite thin, sometimes gets confused and has arthritis, bet she is still "The Queen" of our household. She spends her day sleeping on the windowsill watch birds, squirrels and the occasional passer by. In her hey day she was the best mouse ever, even leaving her treasure on my chest while I was napping on the back porch!
Cat Number 2 is Fifi LaRue. I work in a cat shelter and fell in love with her right away and she with me. So, after waiting for someone to adopt her for 3 weeks, I did. Surprise, I said to my husband and after a few choice words, I find the 2 of them snuggling on the couch together. Fifi was found about 20 miles from our shelter, and was fairly healthy upon intake. She is a Siamese Manx mix and doesn't have a tail at all. She does have a few health problems she has poor vision mainly due to her eyes not being able to dilate. They are actually blue, but most of the time the pupils look red the way the light reflects. She usually has a lot to say, and she always gets the last word in. She enjoys her catnip toys and loves her Churro treats.
Finally, we have my sons therapy cat, Turbo. By the way he and FIfi are both 6 years old. I got Turbo when I was visiting my daughter at her farm in Maryland. She found 2 all white newborn kittens and had been bottle feeding them but could not keep them both so I said sure I'll take one. He was so cute when he was little, but he is not real lovey dovey, he is quite independent and really took to my son. So that is the story of the Clawson Kitties, I would love to hear about your feline friends.
