Hi, my name is Daisy Mae and I am a 6 year old Boston
Terrier Bulldog mix. I don't’ know where the Mae came from except it was the month I was born and my mom uses it when when she is really mad at me.
So how did I come to my fur ever family?
Well, my mom worked at a school and one of her students just knew she needed a puppy. Reluctantly my human parents came to check me out and my mom fell in love with me, and honestly who wouldn't look how cute I am. And as they say the rest is history.
One thing you probably would find weird about me.
Well, I have a tail, and not just any tail but an s curve tail. Someday I will show it to you. Apparently, it happened before I was born. Usually, Boston's get their tails docked after they are born, but my birth mom had problems and the humans decided not to do it. I don't mind though cause it is a good conversation starter!
I have 3 furry siblings besides my humans. Rex Charles is a 14-year-old Min Pin who thinks he is the boss of everyone and then there are the bloody cats. Tinkerbell is 17 years old and we must be careful of her cause she is fragile-at least that's what mom says, and finally there is Fifi LaRue. She is the same age as me and is a Manx Siamese cat with no tail. Mom brought her home from where she works and my life is not the same. She is sassy, steals food and always gets her way.
I will talk with each of them at another time, but right now I want to explain:
Why Am I Writing This Blog?
So you might be wondering why a gorgeous and charming Boston Terrier like myself has taken to the virtual world to pen a blog. Well, let me fill you in on the tail-wagging reasons behind my decision:
1. To Share My Adventures:
Life as a Boston Terrier is full of excitement! From daily walks in the park to playful romps with my favorite toys, I have so many pawsome adventures to share. Through this blog, I can take you along on my journey, giving you a glimpse into my world from a pup's perspective.
2. To Connect with Other Dogs (and Humans, Too!):
One of the best parts of having a blog is the opportunity to connect with fellow canines and their humans. Whether you're a Boston Terrier like me or a different breed altogether, I want to create a space where we can bark about our shared experiences, swap tips on everything from treats to training, and form a paw-sitive community.
3. To Educate and Entertain:
Let's face it—being a Boston Terrier comes with its own set of quirks and charms. Through my blog, I hope to educate humans about our breed-specific traits, health tips, and care needs. At the same time, I aim to entertain with funny stories, and heartwarming moments that will bring a smile to your face.
4. To Advocate for Canine Happiness:
Every dog deserves a wag-worthy life filled with love, care, and plenty of belly rubs. By sharing my experiences and insights, I hope to promote responsible pet ownership, advocate for animal welfare, and spread awareness about the joys and responsibilities of having a furry companion.
5. Because I Have a Voice, Too:
Just because I don't speak your language doesn't mean I don't have a lot to say! Through my blog, I can express myself, share my thoughts and feelings, and show the world what it means to be a Boston Terrier with a big heart and an even bigger personality.
